Bridget Beadle has worked in the maternity ward of a local hospital for the past seven years. She is passionate about her work and her motivation comes from helping new parents feel more comfortable and confident in their parenting skills. She recognizes that women are underserved in the medical world, particularly during reproductive treatment, and she is proud to advocate for her patients. Bridget’s mother is a hard-working, selfless person and passed on that sense of compassion to her daughter.

Adding to her busy schedule, Bridget also home schools her 7-year-old stepson and is preparing to have her first child. Her perception of heroism is, “Feeling passionate about what you’re doing. Finding that passion and showing up every day, no matter the long hours or stressful situations or the risks involved, you always feel like it’s worth it.”

Bridget’s definition of a true everyday hero is, “Someone that selflessly goes above and beyond to contribute positively to the people around them.”
