Renee Bunting is a Deputy with Teller County Sheriff’s Office who has dedicated her life to bettering her community. As a Deputy, Renee works tirelessly to protect her community, but that does not stop her from spending her time off giving back in other ways. In the department, Renee is heavily involved in, if not running, local citizen volunteer corps, Shop with a Hero events, Toy Drives, the Breakfast with Santa event, Sheriff’s Office Open Houses, National Night Out, the Veterans’ Motorcycle run to Cripple Creek, the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb and Coffee with the Sheriff.
Renee is closely tied to community-wide events, like Shop Local, Neighborhood Social Media platforms, her church, Business After Hours events, the local VFW Post, American Legion and any other charity event going on. Renee is known for donating her time, money and skills to her coworkers, friends and community. Needless to say, Renee devotes everything she has to helping her community and she truly is a hero.
