Denver, Thursday, October 17, 2019, 9 a.m. – The American Red Cross has opened a shelter at the Livermore Community Church, 284 West County Rd 74E, Livermore, CO 80536.

Three people stayed at the shelter overnight and at 8 a.m. there were three families having breakfast and waiting for additional evacuation information.

The shelter will remain open today providing food, comfort and information. The shelter may operate overnight depending on the status of mandatory evacuations. How Can You Help? Please do not bring donations of food or other items to the shelter. At this time the Red Cross has all the supplies it needs to help those affected by the Elk Fire.
