Denver, Monday, July 23,2018, 10 AM – Disaster volunteers from the American Red Cross of the Mile High Area rallied to support families affected by a fire at the Westbury Apartments, in Westminster, early Sunday morning.
A team of disaster action team responders continues to meet with victims to provide direct support and assistance with immediate needs. As of 12:00 p.m. on Monday, the Red Cross has helped more than 100 people by providing support for temporary lodging, clothing and emotional support.
Individuals displaced by the fire can call 1-800-417-0495 if they have not been helped by the Red Cross yet. Casework for this incident will continue as needed to support the people affected.
