Deirdre Wildman Secures Her Red Cross Legacy
The Red Cross of Colorado and Wyoming has so many reasons to be grateful to Deirdre Wildman for her service, her leadership, and her example. Deirdre is the immediate past Board Chair of the Mile High Board of Directors, is a member of the Tiffany Circle, and has supported the Red Cross for more than a decade. She is an ardent champion of our Service to the Armed Forces programs, among others, together with her husband, a retired 28-year veteran of the US Army.
We now acknowledge Deirdre for taking the initiative to join the American Red Cross Legacy Society.
Deirdre came forward to tell us that when revising her will, she included a provision for the Red Cross. The Legacy Society honors Deirdre and her fellow visionaries who give our mission an extraordinary place in their lives – in effect, making this mission an extension of her own family. With her commitment to continue supporting the Red Cross even beyond her lifetime, she strengthens our ability to help future generations.
In doing so, Deirdre is building a lasting bridge between past, present, and future. It is the legacy of compassion that links the founders of the American Red Cross with the millions of Red Crossers who carry on our vital work today, and, in turn, reinforce the future capacity of this incomparable humanitarian service organization. Deirdre and the members of the Legacy Society enable us to say that the Red Cross will always be there for people in crisis.
