Denver, Friday, May 11, 2018 – The American Red Cross as part of the Save a Life Denver Coalition will be offering Active Threat Training in Denver Saturday, May 12, 2018. The training will be held at the Red Cross office, 444 Sherman St., Denver from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Active Threat Training is an import part of everyone’s preparedness planning. Having a plan and then implementing that plan when needed can make the difference between life and death in an emergency.
“Talking about active threats and taking small steps towards preparedness can be empowering. This course will help you increase your chances of survival,” said Julianna Lochte, Business and Organizational Preparedness Manager.
The Active Threat Preparedness Course includes information on surviving an active shooter incident, stopping the bleed, hands-only CPR and Psychological First Aid.
Space is still available for the course on Saturday but participants must register. Contact Julianna Lochte at julianna.lochte@redcross.org or call 303.607.4762.
