Grizzly Creek Evacuation Center Open

August 14, 2020, 1:00 pm – Evacuation Center in Edwards, CO Now Open

The American Red Cross of Colorado has opened an evacuation center in Edwards, Colorado to assist residents who have been evacuated the Grizzly Creek Fire, in the Glenwood Springs Canyon.The Evacuation Center is located at the Battle Mountain High school, located at 0151 Miller Ranch Rd, Edwards, CO 81632.

Red Cross volunteers are there and are prepared and ready to accommodate anyone needing information or other assistance. They will also have access to emergency supplies and support.

The American Red Cross of Colorado has opened an Evacuation Center in Gypsum, CO to assist residents who have been evacuated the Grizzly Creek Fire, in the Glenwood Springs Canyon.

The Evacuation Center is located at the Gypsum Recreation Center-  52 Lundgren Blvd Gypsum, CO 81637.

Red Cross volunteers are there and are prepared and ready to accommodate anyone needing information or other assistance. They will also have access to emergency supplies and support.

The evacuation center at the Glenwood Springs Community Center, located at 100 Wolfsohn Road, Glenwood Springs will be open during community center operating hours tomorrow. Red Cross volunteers will be will be available with emergency supplies to provide support to those impacted.

The Grizzly Creek Fire has forced the evacuations of several communities and has shutdown parts of I-70 in both directions.
 
In order to help out stranded motorists and evacuated communities, the American Red Cross of Colorado has opened an evacuation center at the Glenwood Springs Community Center, located at 100 Wolfsohn Road, Glenwood Springs. The Center will be open today and tomorrow from 6:00 am – 7:00 pm.
 
Volunteers will be available with emergency supplies to provide support to those impacted. They will remain on standby, ready to help the community further in a moments notice.

    I am writing to ask if there is a possibility that the town of Eagle will be threatened by the Grizzley Creek fire? I am wondering if the fire is moving east. I don’t live there but have friends and family I can’t get through to for other reasons.
