American Red Cross of Southeastern Colorado Continues to Provide Support and Services for Fire Victims

The American Red Cross of Southeastern Colorado continues to assist residents from the 2300 block of Sprague Avenue, in Pueblo, Colorado, after the Fenix Apartment building caught fire on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. 40 homes were impacted by the fire. Many units remain uninhabitable today.

Red Cross volunteers have been hard at work since, providing shelter, food, medical assistance and mental health support as well as taking care of immediate needs, like clothing, infant essentials and more. The Red Cross would also like to thank the Colorado Disaster Baptist Relief organization for its support for cooking the meals for the residents and volunteers. Partnerships like this are critical when it comes to supporting communities during disaster.

Services and support from the Red Cross and its volunteers will continue as it is needed in order to help the individuals impacted by this tragic event.
