Originally from Alamogordo, New Mexico, Travis’ commitment to service extends far beyond the call of duty, encompassing various roles and responsibilities within the military and civilian spheres. As the Buckley Readiness NCO in the Military and Family Readiness Center, Travis plays a crucial role in supporting service members and their families facing hardships, particularly those deployed or with dependents requiring special care.
Family lies at the core of Travis’ identity, with a wife, six children and a grandson forming the foundation of his life. His faith is unwavering and it’s this strong sense of devotion that propels him to prioritize his family and community above all else.
One of Travis’ key roles is as the base’s volunteer coordinator, overseeing many community engagement initiatives. Serving as a liaison between Buckley Air Force Base and the Cherry Creek School District (CCSD), he spearheads the annual Military Appreciation Event. This event is a testament to his commitment of fostering a strong bond between the military and civilian communities.

Travis’ dedication to community service is deeply rooted in his family’s history of military service, spanning five generations. He firmly believes that serving your community is an integral aspect of a fulfilling life and this philosophy is reflected in his numerous roles and responsibilities.
Altruism is the driving force behind Travis’ tireless efforts to help others. His desire to serve extends beyond his military duties, as evidenced by his roles as a deacon in The Avenue Church and his involvement with multiple non-profit agencies in the Aurora area.
