We’re Looking for Hometown Heroes – Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things
The American Red Cross of Colorado is looking for local heroes to honor at our three Hometown Heroes events in 2019. We need your help in finding people that deserve recognition. A Hometown Hero is typically a local person or organization in our community who has had a positive impact on someone’s life or whose commitment to our community has made a positive difference. It might be a one-time rescue that saved a life or a lifetime of service. It might be an adult, a youth, a first responder or a community organization. It could be a coworker or family member.
We need your help in finding the people that deserve recognition.
The recognition events will be held as follows:
Pueblo Hometown Heroes Dinner – February 21, 2019,
Denver Heroes Soiree – March 8, 2019
Colorado Springs Hometown Heroes Dinner – March 14, 2019.
You can nominate your hero on line at www.redcross.org/coloradoheronominate
The Hometown Heroes events are important fundraising events and the proceeds go directly to Red Cross humanitarian services in Colorado.
