An Evening of Thanks

On October 26, 2023, Red Crossers from the American Red Cross of Colorado and Wyoming came together at the Four Mile Historic Park in Denver, CO, to recognize and celebrate the generous donors who make the Red Cross mission possible.

Special guest South Adams County Fire Department’s Division Chief of Fire Prevention and Fire Marshal, Chief Brittany Brown, joined the celebration to speak about the department’s partnership with the Red Cross and to thank Red Cross supporters for their dedication to the community.

The work of the Red Cross could not be done without gracious donors. When an emergency occurs, individual and corporate financial donors enable us to provide shelter, food and comfort.

In addition, their gifts help empower ordinary citizens with extraordinary skills like first aid and CPR and deliver 24/7 support to military members, veterans and their families. Their contribution enables us to foster healthier and safer communities worldwide, whether it’s through measles vaccinations or disaster risk-reduction programs.
