American Red Cross Responds to Club Valencia Fire

NOVEMBER 7, 2022, DENVER, CO 11 a.m.

The Disaster Assistance Center located at Village East Elementary has now closed. Individuals still needing assistance after the Club Valencia Fire can call 1-800-733-2767 and will be connected with assistance. You can also call 211 from any phone in the Denver Metro Area to be connected with the Mile High United Way assistance center. 

NOVEMBER 5, 2022, DENVER, CO 10:30 a.m.

With our partners at Arapahoe County, we have opened a Disaster Assistance Center for those impacted by the Club Valencia fire at Village East Elementary, 1433 South Oakland St., Aurora, CO 80012. The center will be open Saturday Nov. 5, 9am-5pm and Sunday, Nov. 6, 9am-5pm.

NOVEMBER 3, 2022, DENVER, CO 8 p.m.

The American Red Cross of the Mile High is responding to a Multi-Family Fire near 1300 South Parker Road at the Club Valencia condominiums in Aurora, Colorado. 

Red Cross has opened an evacuation shelter at the east side of Arapahoe County Fairgrounds located at 25690 E Quincy Ave, Aurora, CO 80016. Our volunteers are standing by to provide comfort and care to all those impacted. Red Cross is providing warm meals and a safe place to stay as we aid in the recovery process.

We are supporting nearly 30 people from 85 units. Disaster health and mental health volunteers are on the scene providing assistance to those impacted. Red Cross will support our government partners in conducting a damage assessment and assessing the need to provide individual disaster assistance and feeding services. 

The American Red Cross responds to disasters big and small every day. Across the nation home fires, like this, are the most common disaster we respond to.
