Congrats! Jessica Schwindt!

Congratulations!

Red Cross of Northern Colorado volunteer, Jessica Schwindt, for her recent graduation from Colorado State University. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jessica missed out on a graduation ceremony. Members of her NOCO Red Cross family did a noisy drive-by congratulatory event at her home in Evans, Colorado, along with two fire trucks from the Evans Fire Department.

Jessica is the Red Cross of Northern Colorado Preparedness and Home Fire Campaign lead. She is also a member of the NOCO Disaster Action Team.

“Jessica is very personable, energetic, and passionate about her career and volunteer work with the Red Cross. She’s fairly new to the Red Cross but has actively undertaken leadership roles as Preparedness and Home Fire Campaign Lead, and DAT Service Associate at the Northern Colorado Chapter. She is easy to work alongside, and with strong empathetic characteristics desperately needed these days, Jessica is a most valuable, welcome, and needed addition to the Red Cross.”  –John P. Walsh – NoCo/Wy ERV Lead

“Jessica was very instrumental in getting our Home Fire Campaign program going for this past fiscal year. After COVID-19 occurred, she reached out to me and asked, ‘What can I do to help our mission?’. I asked her to become our Preparedness Lead and without question, she agreed. Jessica is very committed. It is a pleasure to work with her.”  –Tony Suarez, NOCO Disaster Program Manager
