    Hello,
I am working with Colorado Lions District 6C on fire relief efforts. Our Fire Relief Committee saw on the Boulder Office of Emergency Management website that the Red Cross was helping victims of the fire with replacement of durable medical equipment including eyeglasses. Lions would like to partner in this effort.

I have attempted to call and speak with someone to find out what Red Cross covers and does not cover, as well as to discuss how we can support those who are in need of eyeglass replacement. I have not been able to connect with anyone through the Red Cross phone number (303-722-7474).

We have already obtained donations through the Colorado Lions Foundation and are in the process of applying for a Lions Club International Foundation grant, both of which can be used for eyeglasses.

If someone could either call or email me so we can offer our assistance, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!
