Red Cross Honors Woody Faircloth

In wake of the Camp Fire in California, Faircloth made it his mission to find homes for stranded families.

Woody Faircloth watched in horror as the town of Paradise, California was ruined by wildfire. Watching the news coverage, Faircloth knew he had to do something.

For their heroic and lifesaving acts, Woody Faircloth and his daughter, Luna, will receive the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Award at the American Red Cross Heroes Soiree on Saturday, February 29, 2020.

The American Red Cross Heroes Soiree is a celebration of the Red Cross spirit as exemplified in lifesaving heroes in Colorado.

Over the past year, Woody Faircloth and his 7-year-old daughter, Luna have delivered more than 70 RVs to victims of the Camp Fire. Thanks to websites like Craigslist and social media, Faircloth finds RVs, fixes them up and then drives the 1,200-miles from Colorado to California to hand deliver them to families in need.
